|SEASON OVERVIEW

OR6 was the result of a two-year development cycle starting with the club's founding in the fall semester of 2004.

OR6 laid much of the groundwork for future Owls Racing cars while maintaining iconic design elements unique to itself, such as the front-mounted radiator.

The car competed in the 2006 Formula SAE Michigan competition, where the team focused on completing all dynamic events. Despite being a first-year entry, OR6 successfully passed tech and gained valuable insight into the rigors of competition, setting the stage for long-term program growth.
