About Us

|Team History

Owls Racing was founded in 2004 and has grown from a small group of passionate engineers to a fully-structured race team competing in the Formula SAE series. Our team is made up of dedicated students from Florida Atlantic University and is structured around the FSAE design judging subsystems — including Low Voltage/DAQ,Chassis,Aerodynamics, Powertrain, and more.

The Executive Board oversees all high-level decision-making, including sponsorship, logistics, and university relations. Each subsystem is led by a dedicated lead engineer who manages their respective subsystem team.

Our workspace and machine shop is located on campus at Florida Atlantic University in the Engineering West building. Weekly meetings held in the fall and spring semesters in Room 162 in Engineering West.
